The Shasta-Trinity Regional Occupational Program (STROP) is a partnership between California Career-Technical Education (CTE) and Northern California high school districts that have chosen to partner with us.

High school students from partner districts may choose from a variety of Career-Technical classes:

High school students take approximately 90 minutes from their regular high school classes in order to participate in CTE classes offered at the STROP Center on Eastside Road in Redding.  School bus transportation is available.  In addition to classroom learning, CTE students have opportunities for hands-on training at local industry sites such as Shasta Regional Medical Center and Redding Fire Department.  All students earn high school credit and most are eligible to simultaneously earn college credit through Dual Enrollment with Shasta College.  To get started, speak to your high school guidance counselor or one of our Shasta-Trinity ROP Career Specialists located at Anderson, West Valley and Central Valley High Schools.
